Is my apartment making me sick?

I moved in my apartment in July of 2010 and in September maybe October i started to get really sick. I would start coughing really bad and i would cough so bad that i would throw up. i would feel sick all the time. Very tired all the time. When i would leave to go to work i would be fine but since i lost my job i am back home again and started feeling sick again. i have been to the doctor and they don't know whats wrong with me.So could my apartment be making me sick. I don't think there is any mold anywhere haven't seen any and i have not seen any water damage.

I'm pretty well versed on electronics, but this one has me stumped. Power Inverter in a car measures 115V, but only 10Hz. My meter (Kill-a-Watt) tests properly in the house @ 60Hz. The inverter states the output should be 60Hz, so I know it's faulty. All my devices seem to work or charge alright, but are there any known issues with too low a frequency? Theoretically, I think the RMS for a sine wave should be the same no matter the frequency (though I couldn't say how clean of a sine wave it's generating), but it all seems moot since it tests the proper 115V, which I know is an RMS spec. Right away, turn off the power supply immediately when that lights up. An overload in a circuit is a fire hazard and needs to be taken care of immediately. Sometimes when there is an overload that means there is a short circuit because a short circuit involves heat which current overloads do too. That could also be your problem. Hope this helps.

I'm trying regulate electricity that is coming from a motor that is being turned by pedals on a bike. The motor is outputting voltage anywhere from 0 volts to 40 volts or more. Dimly lit laptop screen?

I replaced my old cracked screen with a new one, but the screen is really dim. Its an led lcd screen so i know it cant be the inverter. Can I sue my apartment complex?

I was held at gun point and robbed right outside my apartment. The main light by my apartment is not working, making it very dark. The guy hide in a dark corner waiting for someone to walk by. You just got scammed by the repair shop like so many inexperienced computer uses do. If you have all new parts then it is possibly something with the software itself. Go under settings and find the brightness or contrast option and turn it up. You could just be using the computer in a bright area as many monitors are not easily visible under bright light. If none of those work, invest in a new computer.

Questions about my lease?

So me and my now ex-girlfriend signed a year long lease in November 2010. We broke up and she hasn't been staying here since April. She has continued to pay me her half of the rent. She tried to be let out of the lease this month and my landlord (and the real estate company they work with) said no. The lease doesn't say I pay half, she pays half. Is my backlight inverter out on my HP laptop?
