Outdoor solar/battery setups vs rain?

They need to be placed in a weather proof box or in a shed near the panels. I have mine in the house in the basement. I used cheep conduit running 15amp lines to my basement for my batteries, works like a charm! Inverters are not water proof and should never be left outdoors.
