Vizo screen backlight doesn't turn on. Is it the power supply, or the backlight inverter?

The little vizio orange light turns to white when you power it on, but no life at all on the screen. I have it taken apart right now, as I have been reading on the problem. Nothing on the inside appears to be wrong, but it probably wouldn't be visible anyway.Some have said that it's the backlight inverter, which I located and messed with a little. I also think it could be the main board power supply to the inverter. The other people who have had this problem get at least some light to their screen. Mine doesn't power at all. It's just annoying. I want my tv to work. I don't want to take it to a shop. I'm pretty sure, if I knew the problem, I would be able to fix it. Thanks!
