What are duke nukem forever codes?

My game is legal and registered. Can anyone help me get through the game? I need cheat codes. The only thing I have found says cheat codes are effective after you have successfully completed the game, but I can't complete the game b/c I don't have codes to get me past the obstacles. . .. .
