What watts inverter do i need to run a 120v regular home air compressor in my mobile auto repair van?

Hi fellas i have bought a used Craftman air compressor for my mobile auto repair van and now i need to install an inverter to run it but don't know how many watts will start it up. I was told told starting it up and almost full tank its when uses lots of energy..
