What happens if I use an adapter to plug a real stereo into a cigarette lighter?

Why don't you want to alter the stock radio? While your idea has good intention this is not a good idea. to have direct current ruining through your car with out restraint. You could damage your whole car. The reason I ask is b/c you could put a new car radio in with out altering your car wires or cutting the dash component with different harnesses. Whats your make and model?
